Adam Coldrick

I'm a software engineer, specialising in build tooling and distributed systems.

Since 2014 I've been working for Codethink on a variety of projects in Manchester, UK. Currently I'm working on BuildGrid and BuildBox, a set of tooling to make builds faster.

I write a lot of Python, TypeScript, and C++. I would like to write more Rust.

I also have lots of opinions about task trackers.

Other things

In my free time I like building worlds and conlanging, either as RPG settings or just for fun. The most well documented of these is the Imperium of Forao, which I regularly post updates about on Exilian, a creative community.

Though not for some time, I sometimes mod old games like Rome: Total War. My best mods can be found on the things page.

I also enjoy hiking, especially in the highlands of Scotland, and generally being outdoors.
